Joanne McKeown | Westfield Area Y

Joanne McKeown

Joanne McKeown  is a  Certified Personal Trainer with  AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America), YMCA Strength and Conditioning Trainer, and a Cancer Care Specialist with an emphasis in Breast Cancer, and has additional Post Rehab and Youth Fitness certifications.  Joanne is an avid soccer player who played for Maryland University and has coached many soccer teams.  A 5-time marathon runner, Joanne was also a running coach for Team in Training (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society).

Prior to working at the Westfield Area Y, Joanne was the Sports and Recreation at the JCC of Central NJ.  She has also worked in both outpatient and hospital settings in the physical therapy department and has a strong background in the post-rehabilitation field.

Joanne enjoys working in the physical fitness field, and gets great satisfaction from seeing her clients meet their short and long term goals.  Remember , “The first wealth is health” -  Ralph Waldo Emerson
