Preschool Enrichments: Westfield
Extended Day Enrichments
These classes are designed to add a day to your child’s week or extend their day from a half to a full day (8:30-11:00AM) or 12:00-2:30PM). Children learn in a small group setting, taught by our enthusiastic teachers. Children learn, explore and play outside of their traditional classroom. It also provides your budding scientist, artist or chef with extra time to do what they love best! Children must be three years old and 100% potty trained to attend Extended Enrichments. Each class session includes time for the children to play on the playground or in the gym and a snack time. For more information, contact Eileen Rooney, email@example.com; 908-233-2700 x423.

They will have the opportunity to use a telescope, build a rocket, and make their own fiery meteor. Lots of fun science experiments are designed to help your child learn about the differences between the earth and other planets.
ANIMALS A TO Z
Preschoolers have a natural curiosity and love of animals. Children are introduced to creatures great and small, and learn about where and how they inhabit the earth. The class also helps foster a desire to take care of the earth and protect the many different animal habitats. Lessons will have a little bit of all your child’s favorite activities; art, music, science and stories!
SCIENCE AND NATURE

The science class lets them study their everyday surroundings, conduct experiments and learn some answers for themselves. Lessons are geared toward having the children appreciate and relate to the wonderful world around them. Hands on and most importantly fun!
What’s the most important experience for children ages three to nine? ART! Nothing integrates all areas of development and stimulates children as much as art does. Classes encourage children to explore, to experience, to touch and to see, to learn and create. Children are introduced to some of the great artists and learn about different styles and mediums.
Children travel from the gardens of New Jersey to the coast of Italy cooking up wonderful new recipes along the way. This class teaches healthy eating habits and introduces the children to different cultures. Through hands on recipes, children learn cooking can be fun and nutritious. The class encourages children to try new foods, learn about the food pyramid and practice counting, measuring, while having fun in the kitchen.
Literature lets a child’s imagination soar. Through stories children learn about other people, places, and cultures. Each week highlights a new book and brings it to life through crafts, music, dance, drama and games. Books are selected to reflect the seasons and holidays, but most importantly, they are chosen to instill a love of books in your child!
