Domingo and his wife, Jane, moved to Westfield seven years ago for the schools. They are both employed at Westfield restaurants and work hard to provide for their children.

At the time they moved, they had one school-age daughter. When their son was born, they needed daycare so they could both keep working.

“We looked around and everything was too expensive. We were very fortunate that the Westfield Area Y was able to help us.”

Their son attended the Early Learning Center for two years, and then Kindergarten Wraparound. He has participated in soccer and swimming. Domingo volunteered as a coach and their daughter participated on the swim team.

“None of this would be possible without the support of the Strong Kids Campaign. We are very grateful.”
