I have been a YMCA member since I was 9. During my formative years at the Rahway YMCA, I did everything — swimming, running, basketball — but that’s just a piece of the story. I attended dances, went bowling and even did errands for the residents who lived at the Y!

I became an orthodontist, opened a practice in Cranford, and joined the Westfield Area Y in 1974. I am here almost every day taking a spinning class, a Zumba class, or working out in the fitness rooms.

I joined the Board to give back to the community, and I currently serve on the Medical Advisory Committee. I enjoy seeing kids being active at the Y … it is very rewarding!  The Y has been such an integral part of my life. I am proud to be a Board Member.
