I worked for Kodak as a sales executive for 27 years and loved my job. I was forced to retire when my mother became ill, and I became her 24/7 caregiver.

I was under constant stress, on a fixed income and needed a place to go to exercise and relieve tension. I applied for financial assistance. It was my lifesaver.

After my mother died, I saw a job posting at the Y and now work at the Welcome Center. I love it and am so grateful.

Now, I am happy to say that I am a contributor to the very financial assistance program that was there for me when I needed the help.  I am blessed to be able to give back.
