Westfield Area YMCA year-round early learning programs strengthen families and boost youth development by offering our youngest members and their families a safe and healthy place to learn foundational skills, develop relationships and build self-reliance through character development and structured curriculum.  Financial assistance is available for YMCA programs and memberships for those who qualify.

With so many demands on today’s families, the Y recognizes that our parents, guardians and caregivers need a reliable high-quality program in which they can be confident that their child is realizing their full potential.   All programs are led by experienced and loving staff, who are all CPR and First Aid certified.

Programs are available 2-5 days per week, 7:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday (extended care available until 6:30PM):

For infants (6-17 months): Our day includes centers for floor activities with manipulative, art and sensory experiences; breakfast/snack/lunch; nap; indoor/outdoor physical time; and circle time.  Infants develop a sense of self, learn basic skills and how to socialize.

For toddlers (18-29 months): In addition to the activities listed above, toddlers engage in active and quiet activities, use language to express wants and needs, learn social skills such as sharing and develop self-help skills as well.
