Senior Membership Options

Senior membership rates are available for individuals or families at both the Silver or Gold level. Learn more about membership benefits here!

Included with any Senior Membership–get fit in one of the Y’s two pools and multiple fitness areas and participate in all land and water exercise classes. Check out the schedules for our two pools, gymnasium (including Pickleball), fitness classes and more on our Schedules & Brochures page here.

Exercise Classes Included with your Senior Membership

FITNESS CLASSES

A variety of high and low impact group fitness classes are offered to fit every activity and ability level and considers special health needs.  Classes include Yoga, Pilates, cardio, strength, cycling, barre and more. All classes are taught by nationally-certified group fitness instructors. Here are just a couple of examples perfect for seniors: Lite Total Body Fitness, Delay the Disease Sit ‘N Be Fit!, Functional Strength, Balance & Basic TRX, and Bone Smart.

WATER EXERCISE CLASSES

Water fitness classes provide cardiovascular and strength training benefits for all ages and fitness levels. Water-based workouts maximize your fitness results while minimizing the stress on joints and muscles. Water resistance = a total body workout! All classes are taught by instructors certified in aquatic exercise. Here are just a couple of examples perfect for seniors: Arthritis Aquatic Exercise, Aqua Lite, Aqua Fit Deep, and Aqua Fit Shallow.

Other Programs for Seniors

The Y offers occasional weekday lectures on various topics from visiting speakers and experts.  Past topics have included joint health, balance screening, and Medicare options.  These are free and open to the community. Check our the event calendar on our homepage for upcoming events.

Personal training is available for a fee for members. We offer a variety of  options to meet your individual needs and to assist you on your journey to living a healthier, happier life. Our personal trainers are all nationally certified and ready to create an individualized program that will meet your specific needs and goals, whether you are getting ready for a triathlon, need post-injury rehabilitation, or you just need the motivation to get your exercise program on track. Our training philosophy is simple: we help you reach your fitness goals by providing you with the motivation, knowledge and support that will ultimately make you a successful and independent exerciser.
