Fred rejoined the Westfield Area YMCA staff in 2022 in his current role. He previously served as a coach with the Competitive Aquatics program in the 1980s and 1990s after having swum for the Devilfish for a number of years prior to that.

In between his tenures at the Westfield Area YMCA, Fred worked in the engineering, publishing, and marketing fields, most recently as the Director of Engineering Content and Product Management at IHS Markit.

Fred graduated from Rutgers College of Engineering with a Bachelors in Ceramic Engineering.  He resides in Mountainside.
