Adrian Sanchez

Associate Director of Sports Programs

Adrian joined our Y in 2023 as Associate Director of Sports Programs. He graduated from Ashford University with a Bachelors in Sports and Recreation Management. Adrian worked for Amazing Athletes, a program that provides year-round developmental sports and physical fitness to preschoolers.

Adrian has a deep commitment and passion when coaching youth sports and has 20+ years of experience as a positive role model and mentor. Kids, teens, and adults look forward with excitement to what Coach Adrian brings to each session.

He began playing sports at a young age and was a 4-sport varsity athlete in high school. From there, he played baseball at Bergen County Community College before moving to Ashford. Adrian has also completed two marathons and a half marathon in Philadelphia.

Adrian resides in Colonia and enjoys volunteering for the Special Olympics, watching horror movies, running, and spending time with his close family and friends.
