Programs at the Early Learning Center YMCA boost youth development by offering our youngest members and their families a safe and healthy place to learn foundational skills, develop relationships and build self-reliance through character development and structured curriculum.
12-month program offers care with options for 2-5 days/week, 7:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.
Infant & Toddler Care (6 months-2.5 years)
For Infants (6-17 months):
Day includes floor activities with manipulative, art, and sensory experiences; meal times; nap; indoor/outdoor active play; and circle time. Infants develop a sense of self, learn basic skills and how to socialize.
Toddlers (18-29 months):
The day includes center activities with manipulative, art, and sensory experiences; meal times; nap; indoor/outdoor active play; and circle time. Toddlers also engage in active and quiet activities, use language to express wants and needs, learn social skills such as sharing and develop self-help skills as well.
Full-Day Preschool (2.5-5 years)
Our days include hands-on learning and exploration through art, dramatic play, building, nature, and quiet areas. Children participate in small group, theme-based activities and enjoy a balanced mix of active and quiet times, with minimal transitions. Music and movement are incorporated both indoors and outdoors to support gross and fine motor development.
All programs follow the Creative Curriculum, a nationally recognized framework rooted in educational philosophy and practice. This curriculum focuses on six core learning areas, emphasizing individual interests, the learning environment, and each child’s unique developmental journey.
