Become A Member!

The club is always seeking new members that share our values and support our mission. Volunteering for the Y’s Men is a great way to give back to the community and get in the holiday spirit of giving!

To be a member we ask for your time supporting tree lot set-up, operations and sales during the holiday season (Thanksgiving – New Year’s).  Volunteering during the holiday season is very meaningful, especially knowing that your work supports local charities and organizations that directly help area residents.  Stop by the tree lot and talk to any member for more information.

Fundraising and Volunteerism

Selling Christmas trees has been the Club’s primary fundraising method.  Since its inception, the Y’s Men have raised over $3 million for community charitable donations.  Some of the many organizations that have benefited from the money raised include the Westfield United Fund, Caring Contact, Children’s Specialized Hospital, Imagine, Resolve Community Counseling, Scotch Plains and Westfield Rescue Squads, Westfield Crew, Master Gardeners Club, and the Westfield Area YMCA.

We are an inclusive club and welcome anyone who supports our mission and values.  The tree lot is a magnet for youth volunteers from area middle schools and high schools.  The kids support tree lot set-up and sales.  Not only is it great to give back to the community by volunteering, it’s a positive learning experience for the kids.  Any middle school or high school age kids who would like to volunteer can stop by the lot and pick up a permission slip.
