Kayla Spinelli

Director of Aquatics

Kayla joined our YMCA in 2023. She holds the position as Director of Aquatics at the Westfield Area YMCA. She is a local resident from Maplewood, New Jersey. In 2017 she moved to Boynton Beach, Florida to pursue coaching Springboard Diving.

In 2015 she was awarded BIG EAST Womens Diving Coach of the Year by Seton Hall University. She continued to be in the pool at the DeVos Blum YMCA in Boynton Beach as an Aquatics Director.  She left Florida after having her son in 2021 and moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee where she also joined a YMCA and worked with Aqua Tots Swim School.
2023 has been an exciting year for Kayla. She got married on September 2, 2023 and brought a new baby to the world in January 2023. She has 2 beautiful baby boys  named Jackson and Jameson.  She is excited to be apart of the team and to be back in Jersey!
