Melinda McHale

Director of School Age Child Care Westfield

Melinda has been with the Westfield Area Y since 2003 and was promoted to her current position in 2021.

Throughout her tenure, Melinda has worked in many of the child care and camp programs. She currently supervises over 120 children in School Age Child Care at the Main Y Facility and oversees the Mountainside afterschool program. Previously, Melinda served as School Age and Camp Coordinator in Garwood, and then became the Garwood Child Care Director.

Melinda holds a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Psychology from Montclair State University.
