Kindergarteners Spread Halloween Cheer with 'Boo Bags' for Hospitalized Kids

The Kindergarten classes at the Westfield Area YMCA Robert and Virginia Bauer Family Branch raised money to purchase non-food Halloween treats for children spending Halloween in the hospital.
The 28 students decorated, sorted, and filled the "Boo Bags" for a total of 108 kids at Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside who were unable to trick-or-treat this year. The Kindergarteners learned the joy of giving and spreading a little Halloween cheer to those who needed it most.
The Robert and Virginia Bauer Family Branch YMCA, located at 422 East Broad Street in Westfield, offers full-day and half-day preschool and full-day kindergarten programs. For more information, contact Eileen Rooney, Director of Early Learning, at 908-654-8460 ext. 134.
