Amanda Aguirre

Assistant Vice President of Membership and Programs

Amanda joined the Westfield Area Y in 2009 as a Welcome Center Representative. She was promoted to a Director in 2011 and held the position of Director of Physical Programs through 2019. In 2020, Amanda became the Senior Director, Member Services. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Health from Montclair State University and a MBA of nonprofit management from Springfield College in 2023.

Amanda loves working at the Y because she gets to interact and work with people of all ages and can help them achieve whatever goal they have. She also believes that having fun while you are learning is the key to individual progress and development no matter what age you are. Her favorite part of her job is building relationships and making people smile. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, Addy, Jax and Jerry who you might see around the Y! She also enjoys coaching and playing softball.
