Maureen Martin

Human Resources Director

Maureen has served the Westfield Area Y as Human Resources Director since 1998.

Prior to working at the Y, Maureen served as a Human Resources Manager for ten years in the for-profit sector. She is affiliated with the YMCA Professional Network, the Society of Human Resource Managers and the NJ YMCA State Alliance Human Resources Steering Network. Maureen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from Springfield College, a Professional Human Resources certification and SHRM-CP certification.

Maureen says the Y is fortunate to have so many dedicated and loyal employees, who genuinely care about members and colleagues and go the extra mile to fulfill the Y’s mission daily.

In her spare time, Maureen enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.
