Dylan Hirtler

Assistant Director of Youth Development and Events

Dylan started as a camper at the Westfield Area YMCA in 1998 and went on to be a part of various programs within SACC and camps since 2012. He has coordinated aftercare programs both for Westfield’s middle schools and at Wilson Elementary School, also spending two years as the CIT Director from 2018-2019. Dylan was promoted to Assistant Director of Youth Development and Events at the end of the 2024 school year and looks forward to the part he will play in the going-ons around the Y.

Dylan received his B.A. in Comparative Literature from Rutgers University and his M.A. in English Writing Studies from Kean University. He enjoys spending time practicing Muay Thai and has a great fondness for sumo wrestling.
